I found myself astronomically overwhelmed this morning with worries about everything that I’m currently taking on and I started to panic at the thought of how much responsibility I’m carrying. All of those thoughts of, “Why am I doing this?”, “Can’t there be an easier way?” and “Is there something I can give up on?” hit and left me spinning.
But instead of letting those questions bog me down, I paused. I answered my own questions with three powerful reminders:
Sometimes the most beneficial thing we can do is take a deep breath and let our stresses roll off our shoulders, if even for a moment, and give genuine, uplifting answers to those negative questions that run through our minds. A positive mindset is one of the best things we can have in this life, especially on days when we struggle to keep our chins up. Remind yourself of your potential and own it. You can move mountains — just breathe, and believe.
